The Hoffer Foundation

Community impact has always been a top priority for Hoffer Plastics. Giving back was so important that Robert A. Hoffer founded the Hoffer Foundation on November 21, 1966, exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific giving. The purpose of the Hoffer Foundation has been to give specifically to organizations that have a 501(c)3 designation. Since the creation of the Hoffer Foundation, millions of dollars have been donated. Over the past 5 years, the Hoffer Foundation has annually donated between $275,000 – $300,000 to local, state, and industry specific organizations.

The Hoffer Foundation has worked very hard to support the local community. Hoffer Plastics is also blessed to have generous employees. Every year, Hoffer Plastics’ employees sponsors a local family that cannot afford to buy Christmas gifts for their children. The outpouring of gifts from employees is positively amazing. Hoffer employees usually fill several cars with presents for these families. Hoffer Plastics also sponsors senior citizens during the holidays to provide needed items. The employees also manage food and coat drives and participate in United Way Day of Caring.
