Drop-Lok is a Hoffer Plastics Injection-molded polypropylene closure with a patented tamper evidence feature. Ideal for food, juice, liquor, pharmaceutical, chemical and other products. Suitable for glass, PET and HDPE containers. It is available in continuous thread (CT) and double lead thread (DLT) configurations.

Tamper-evidence.
Our high-interface band at the base of the closure creates cap-to-container finish contact which causes the tamper-evident band to break away when the container is opened. This tamper-evident feature protects product integrity and results in customer satisfaction.

Seal Integrity ± Removal torque.
Drop-Lok's patented Top-Side seal is position dependent rather than torque dependent, resulting in consistently low removal torque. Liners.
All Hoffer Plastics liners exhibit excellent resiliency, compressibility, torque removal and are FDA approved. Drop-Lok liners are available that can withstand heat over 200 degrees F.

  • Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA).
  • SS-222 - 3-ply co-extruded foamed LDPE core between . 2 layers of solid LDPE.

Linerless and other liners available upon request.

photoCapping equipment.
Drop-Lok closures can be applied by most chuck style cap in head, rotary, 4 wheel straight-line, belt and other screw capping equipment.

Decoration.
Customized colors are available. Embossing and debossing are other opportunities for product and brand identification. Internal and external printing are available.

Storage and handling.
Closures must be stored in a clean, dry area, neither excessively hot nor cold. They should be stacked no more than two skids high. Use of excessively cold closures can result in tamper-evident band breakage during application.
