Quality Comes First

Quality at Hoffer Plastics is our mission everyday. With our vast number of different customers in different industries, we must meet many different requirements. This is done through the quality control system that was set up and continues to be improved daily.

From process inspectors in each molding room to process control and statistical process control, we are overseeing and trying to improve the process of molding. In addition, through Advanced Product Quality Planning, we are setting up control plans and inspection plans that will encompass all aspects needed to assure the customer the best quality possible.

With our commitment to improving the manufacturing capability to the purchase of new presses, we continue to review statistically the improvement in our process and improvement in the customer's parts. In the past two years, we have added two quality engineers to interface with the customers on a regular basis, review their requirements and any discrepancies in quality, and have those corrected. We have incorporated an 8-step corrective action program in order to make sure that we close the loop on any quality problems and remove them so that they do not occur again.
