History

Hoffer Plastics Corporation is a family-owned, custom injection molding company founded in 1953 by Robert A. and Helen Hoffer. The corporation began in a 40’ x 60’ building with a second-hand molding machine manufacturing screws for stick deodorant. Hoffer Plastics Corporation’s history of consistent growth parallels the expanded applications for the current use of plastics. Today, we operate in a campus that is over 365,000 square feet on over 24 acres. Hoffer has 97 injection molding presses that range from 35 to over 650 tons, and at Hoffer, we can accommodate the needs of customers from injection molding to any post-molding assembly.
For over 55 years, the company has seen consistent growth with customers in many different industries. This has been accomplished through a focus of quality, customer satisfaction, and tooling support. Hoffer Plastics contract manufactures globally for a broad-range of customers in multiple marketplaces such as retail packaging, consumer industrial, automotive, medical, and appliance industries. Customers choose Hoffer Plastics because our diversity of product base has sharpened our quality systems and attention to detail. Nothing is more important to our team than the customer. We are very proud to have many Fortune 500 customers that have been entrusting us with their molded plastic parts for decades.
At Hoffer Plastics, in our eight different manufacturing areas, quality is the number one goal for each and every employee. This is accomplished with technologically advanced machinery, auxiliary equipment, and post molding secondary technology purchased on a regular basis in order to stay on top of the many challenges for process control and process capability in the molding industry. We continue to work on a daily basis to continuously improve our operation and to meet the ever changing needs of our customer base.
